Characteristics

Hojas, son normales con un color verde claro un aroma muy especial que sirve como condimento para elaborar dulces especiales, también sacan la esencia de las hojas para perfumes y medicina.
Frutas, el fruto es como la forma de un sombrero y en el centro se forma como una especie de guayaba donde almacena la semilla del Ishpingo.
Flores, la flor es de color café como una especie de bazo que es muy apetecida por los guacamayos y demás roedores, pero también sirve para el preparado del colado morado que es una alimentación tradicional de Ecuador por los fieles difuntos.
